I instantly liked this, soon as it kicked in it had my foot tapping. I am a product of the 'Rave-Era' so I always enjoy a bit of a nostalgic flashback to the early 90's:P
This is rave-like with a modern twist. The repeptition factor is a bit of an issue, but typical of the genre, definite club music smashed on magic beans:)
When it breaks down in the mid-section i would like to here it without the belly synth i think it would sound more hard edged that way, other than that, cool trk.

R-VeeBee responds:

That's cool. Thanks :)

chilled

Sounds almost Robert Miles circa 'children' era, mainly due to the delayed plucked synth sound:)
I would like to have heard a different bass sound, something fuller, more rounded that really gave the mix some sub-bass end.
It's a nice track, good steady progression and i like the panning synth that comes in around 2:30.

Nice chilled stuff.

R-VeeBee responds:

Hehe, yeah my producergroup at school also said it reminded them of 'Children'. :P

Thanks for the review man!

haahhaha

agreed reminiscent of the old Happy Hardcore days, now where's me white gloves, whistle and dustmask?:P
I find this a little annoying tbh, so i can't give it 10/10, but i will 5 it!:D

R-VeeBee responds:

Whahahahaha, okay :P

Thanks for the 5 ;)

thump

I see you're delving into the 'Hard-Dance' side of things, with a twist.
The production was nice and thumping and the 'essential' vocal samples worked nicely:)
I could imagine being smashed off my face throwing myself about on a dancefloor to this:P

R-VeeBee responds:

Haha :D

Thanks man.

cool stuff

liked it a lot, I certainly could add some vox to this, I'll have play with it and see if I come up with anything good:)
Reminds me of New order/lightning seeds, with a modern front, the little vox sounds swirling in and out are brilliant.
Good stuff man.

pitbulljones responds:

Glad you liked it man, I'll take those comparisions ta mate, new order are pure legends in my eyes. Haha the vox is me just harmonising a bit, some delay and verb and reverse treatment. If you lay some vocals down i'd love it. thanks for the review.

I Like This....

.... I'm not too keen on the synth sounds you've chosen to make the main body of the trk as they all blend into a bit of a mush, but the idea of the trk is solid

sebbeshs responds:

Ok. Heh Great To Know..
PS:Glad You Liked It!

interesting

it's nosey btw, not nosy:)
fragmented trk, nice little riffs, but not really a complete song

AaronGPerry responds:

thanks my bad. I guess i could add more to it.

not my bag genre-wise, but very nicely made and good use of the sounds that are indicative of this genre, nice use of panning also.
I think it lacks development, the track doesn't progress that much, but there's enough quality things going on to keep the interest up.
Good stuff

ZOMGBIE responds:

Thanks for the input. I see what you mean with the lack of development. I guess I could try to take it a step further, but I didn't want to make it too long. But I'm glad you enjoyed it.

SAmple driven, but good

Good sound, in parts, a lot of samples which makes me wonder how much of this is actually your own tune. Nice vibe to it, needs tweaking production-wise, the drums get lost and there's no real bass-end to the mix, it seems to centre around the arp. Not bad at all, just needs tweaking. Perhaps try bringing the drums and bass into the foreground of the mix, kind of essential in this genre:)

TheComet responds:

the only samples I used were the Jedah voice clips, the rest of it is original
