[Ravy - Eternity]

A Slice Of Souless Pop/Dance....

...Sorry if u think my initial comment is harsh but this tune is not my thing at all. The production is superb, the transitions are excellent, but it does nothing for me. This is of a high enough quality to be in the English Pop charts and do really well, Top 20 at least, but I can't find anything in this sort of music that gives me a buzz. (I've heard it all before). I can't believe someone of your age can produce such a competent track. I'm sure this will do well in the Dance category cos it is flawless, production wise and i give it 5/5 for that reason. I still don't like it as a piece of music though. It's dated and unoriginal.

I like the sounds...

....I can't stand the cheese! I can appreciate the quality of the production, I can understand why you chose those sounds, (I think u should use them in a more experimantal, chillout/ambient tune with glitchy beats), but I am not a fan of this style of tune. A cross between Happy Hardcore and Trance will never appeal to me. This is Sickly Sweet, which I know u are aware of, but this sort of tune does my head in! You have a lot of talent and i feel u r wasting it writing tunes like this, especially when u can write tunes like 'Jizz Castles', bad name, great tune! Sorry, I just read that back and it comes across as a bit harsh, but this tune just aint my thing.

Hahaha, I know man you are definitely more into the experimental stuff than this style. I'm glad at least you appreciate the quality of the production, I usually don't like to put out a shoddy product. But, don't say I didn't warn ya, I said it would rot your teeth! Haha, anyway don't worry about sounding harsh, I read it exactly the way I'm sure you thought it, and I understand your reaction to this style. [New Rap (loop)]

Well....

....the bass is far too high in the mix, it smothers the other parts. The idea of the tune is nice, but an idea is all it is. Maybe try takin the bass down a notch or two! Play with the drums, add some variance. It's hard to see how this loop could progress. It lacks a melody and direction. Keep things simple, and add to the arrangement little by little. Great sound, just nothing that interests me.

[Can't Get Out]

Amazing production........

..but it has no soul! The sounds used are good and fit well within this genre, but there is a lack of development within the tune. I think what this trk lacks is a good Freestyle rap over the top of it. It doesn't work as a standalone tune, if u can get someone to add some rapping to this it would elevate the tune to a higher level. The arrangement and production is superb, but without that killer vocal line, it fades into obscurity.

It aint DnB!......

....but it is a nice tune. Kinda reminds me of some in-game menu music. It isn't a standalone song. The parts are nice and the production is superb, but it does nothing for me.

U seem to be trying your hand at all sorts of different tunes/styles at the mo, and I must say, I like the diversity. This tune is nicely written, simple but effective mood music.

hmm......

......disjointed and really bad. Why submit something like this? You obviously didn't write any of the parts, as they are just random samples of guitar parts and overly sped up drum parts. Please try to make something worthwhile, as this just gets in the way of good submissions to the audio portal.

It sounds nice...

...but It left me wondering what parts of this u actually wrote and what parts are just nice samples you've found and put together. If u wrote the parts then pls excuse my afore mentioned comments, as this is a clean and nice sounding tune.

Personally....

....I hate this sort of music because it is always the same. Same tired sounds, same tired progressions, same ol beats. That's not to say that this is a bad example of this genre, because u have created a very clear and well produced/arranged loop, but it does absolutely nothing for me. Maybe i'm ignorant and there is a lot of depth that I haven't discovered, but I don't see the point in people writing this sort of music when they obviously have a talent that is being wasted on things that have been done a million times before.

Not bad........

...Sounds like you've glued a lot of samples together that dont quite fit. It has a certain charm to it in places, and some nice touches but overall it sounds messy and lacks any direction. The main drum loop that runs throughout would sound better dry, without the effect. I like the sliced sound that comes in towards the end of the trk, but it's a case of too little to late for me i'm afraid. I think u need to choose your samples more carefully, instead of using things that happen to be at the same bpm. Sorry if u think i'm being a little harsh, but i'm just tryin to give some friendly advice:)

Yeah, I actually agree with most of what you said. The song got hacked into three different pieces for the chase scene, and its supposed to go all over the place without any real purpose. This is just the long version. Thats my excuse anyway. This really isn't very good as a stand alone song, but thought I'd throw it out here for public consumption and ridicule. Thanks for the review and better than I hoped for score.
