Nice to hear some experimental stuff for a change. Nice mash of styles. Sweet drums, smooth sub-bass and glitchy melodies and sfx. Excellent. Check out some of my tunes and c what u think. I like it....
I remember that Pitchshifter CD with the free to use samples on it. My version got so scratched and fukd up that I ended up throwing it out. Bout time I heard some more experimental and individual style on this site, sick of that same ol Trance/Techno FruityLoops bullshit that people churn out. I like the chopped-up drums in this tune, definately my favourite bit. Nice stuff.
Yeah badass CD. Was called www.pitchshifter.com, all the tracks were phat, its not often a band manages to do that, tho they do it often.. well not anymore.. they split up for good this time.. aparantly. Hehe I actually used Fruity loops to make this track hehe, and i also make some trance using it too but i like playing with differant styles, and its nice to see when people have been apreciating my work. I hope for more reviews soon.
BTW.. would you like me to upload a versian of the track without guitaring so you can here the beats i made witht he drums a lil better? Tho I think it would be classifide as "not quite drum and bass" hehe.

...I like the ambience of this track, and as u say some pads would definately add to this tune. I like when the the lead synth sound goes a litlle mad in the mid-section, but it only happened that once and I think you could use it as a basis on which to build the atmosphere of the track. As it is the mix doesn't really hold my interest cos the progression is pretty slow and obvious. I reckon some more cut-up sounds and drums in an Aphex stylee would help and a more experimental chopped-up melody. It's a good solid basis for a track, now all it needs is the finishing touches and tweaks. Nice, I will look forward to hearing what u do with this tune. kB

...is great when those drums kick in. However i'm not too keen on the high piano riff, which seems a little out of time. I like all the other sounds used though, and think if you changed the high piano to another instrument or dropped it lower , it would create a better overall mix. Nice stuff man! THe piano fitted best... I would've taken it an octave lower but that would change the mood of the song completely and I didn't want to do that. cheers for the review though ^_^
I like the drums.
They could do with changing more though. I'm not too keen on the sounds/instruments and melodies you've chosen, they do the simple electro beats no justice. It needs more to it. Some nice atmospheric pads should add some depth. Shame, cos I really like the drums at the start and was hoping for something better, but u r only young and I wish I was writing and experimenting with stuff like this at your age, so keep on creating. I didn't start writing tunes till I was 19!

Another solid tune.
It's just missing that special something. All the right elements are in there, but it needs somethin else, i'm not sure what though. Maybe incorporate more vocal samples throughout the tune.

...I like the mix of the dance and acoustic guitar, it works nicely. My only critisism is that I wish the drums were a little more 'punchy' cos they are really sweet but need some compression on the high end, or sumthin like that!

....this is a nice tune and i'm sure it will be used in many a Flash animation, but I don't know what M64 Winged Cap is! I guess it's a remix of a tune that was used in a video game already, that's why I've been harsh on the originality score. I don't like this kinda music, but for this particular site it is perfect and that's why it has scored high. Does nothing for me I'm afraid. The production and arrangement are good, but I find it a bit on the boring side.

Atmospheric
Really atmospheric track. Definately conjoures up the image of a UFO hovering and preparing to land over a field full of cows. I say cows cos there's a synth sound that sounds like an electronic cow moo, I like it! If an animator doesn't pick up on this tune for a weird Sci-Fi, alien landing kind of animation then they deserve to have there hands severed with a sharp broken biro. Amen.
Haha, that´s the base line that sounds like a cow, i reckon! I just loved that metaphor, cant stop laughing/crying :D

....Aint acoustic, aint really a solo, i only give you credit for the fact that this isn't another techy song. But still, why submit this? You sound like you are learning, and I appreciate your effort, but who wants to hear u struggle to find the right chords/notes, it aint good to listen to.
